Will Recruitment still be happening in the Fall given the current situation with COVID-19?

It is our current goal to proceed with Fall Recruitment as scheduled, but the health and safety of our chapter women and Potential New Members is our first priority. Following the National Panhellenic Conference recommendations, the Panhellenic Council is currently exploring options for virtual and physically distant Recruitment and will keep all PNMs and their families updated on decisions concerning Fall Recruitment 2020 via our website and social media platforms.

What happens to registration if Recruitment is postponed?

In the event that Fall Recruitment must be postponed, all registered PNMs will receive communication from the Panhellenic Council regarding their registration fee.

Will chapters hold on to recommendation letters they have received if Recruitment is postponed?

Yes, our chapters are prepared to keep submitted recommendation letters if Recruitment is postponed to a later time.

If Recruitment doesn't happen in the Fall what are the alternatives?

While it is our goal to proceed with Fall Recruitment as scheduled, the health and safety of our chapter women and PNMs is our first priority. Following the National Panhellenic Conference recommendations, the Panhellenic Council is currently exploring options for virtual and physically distant Recruitment. If the safest option is to fully postpone Fall Recruitment, our Council and its partnering organizations are exploring options to postpone Recruitment to later dates in either the Fall or Spring semester.

When will we know if Recruitment will happen in the Fall?

Following the National Panhellenic Conference recommendations, the Panhellenic Council is currently exploring options for virtual and physically distant Recruitment. We understand the need to plan for travel and make other accommodations, and we are prioritizing providing as much notice as possible. Our goal is to have a final plan by June, but our timeline is dependent on the state of COVID-19 and our nation. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this time.

What happens to the early move-in date if Recruitment is postponed?

At this time we are planning for Recruitment to occur as scheduled, and so the early move-in date will remain the same. As we explore options for virtual and physically distant Recruitment, we are closely communicating with school administration and our campus partners to confirm move-in dates and will update all registered PNMs of any changes to this date.
