Involvement: Our sisters strive to excel on and off campus at the University of Florida - academics, leadership, and service. Our members truly represent Kappa Delta’s national mission, “Building confidence, and inspiring action,” through their active contributions in both our community and on our campus. Our women hold many leadership positions through organizations such as Dance Marathon, Student Government, Florida Blue Key, Strike Magazine, and Florida Cicerones. The immense presence that our members have not only on University of Florida’s campus, but in our greater community as well, highlights the variety of passions that drive our members. No matter where we are or what we are doing, our members always find a way to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.

#westicktogether because despite some differences, it’s our motives, passion, and drive that bring us closer together as a sisterhood and community. Beyond the bricks on E Panhellenic Dr, we seek to find more and more differences in ourselves, but know 1122 will always be a place of nurturing love and compassion together. In the best of times and in the worst of times, we will forever hold a bond as sisters of Kappa Delta.

Hi there!

My name is Emmy Iannone, and I have the privilege of serving as Chapter President to the 250+ sisters of the Beta Pi Chapter of Kappa Delta here at the University of Florida.

I ran home to Kappa Delta in the fall of 2018, where I was embraced by the women who have come to be my greatest friends and mentors. From the very first moment I stepped through the doors during recruitment, I knew it was a special place. Since that first day, Kappa Delta has given me more than I could ever repay. I have been challenged to grow as a person, a leader, and a friend.

I am constantly in awe of the wonderful people I get to call my sisters, and I find that each day I know them - I seem to love them more. As I am about to begin my senior year at UF, I reflect on my very best days over the past three years, and each of my best memories are filled with these people & this place.

I am endlessly thankful to be a member of Kappa Delta and the UF Panhellenic community. The benefits I have been given from my membership in my own chapter and the Panhellenic community as a whole are innumerable, and it has been the honor of my collegiate experience to serve as Chapter President of Kappa Delta.

Each chapter on our campus offers a unique membership experience, and it is my hope that every potential new member finds a place that challenges them to grow into the best version of themselves. As you go through recruitment, I encourage you to think about what you seek to gain from your own collegiate experience.

It is my sincerest wish that you too will enjoy the gifts of sisterhood as wonderful as this.

With love in AOT,

-emmy iannone, Kappa Delta President
