The sisters of Sigma Kappa are proud to maintain a strong, active presence both on campus and throughout the Gainesville community. Our members are involved in some of the university’s most prestigious organizations, including Florida Blue Key, Student Government, Florida Cicerones, Preview Staff, and March of Dimes, among many others.
This past year, Sigma Kappa was honored to be one of the top fundraising organizations for Dance Marathon, raising an impressive $6,500 from our chapter alone. Our commitment to philanthropy is a cornerstone of who we are. Each fall, we host two major philanthropy events, including our beloved Sigma Kickoff soccer tournament, with all proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association — our national philanthropy partner. Additionally, our sisters actively participate in the local Walk to End Alzheimer’s, where this past year we raised thousands of dollars to support vital research and resources for those affected by the disease.
In the spring, we continued our tradition of giving back by hosting Bonjour SK, a coffee and breakfast philanthropy event with proceeds directed to the Sigma Kappa Foundation. Beyond these larger efforts, our sisters take part in numerous service initiatives throughout the year, including volunteering with Grace Marketplace, The Big Event, A Girl’s Place, and many other local organizations.
At Sigma Kappa, it’s important to us that we show up not only as sisters, but as engaged, passionate women dedicated to making a meaningful difference both within our chapter and in the broader community.

At Sigma Kappa, being #AllInAlways means showing up when it matters most, for our sisters, our campus, and our community. As a chapter, we put our hearts into everything we do, with the goal of uplifting those around us and creating meaningful impacts in every space we're part of.
At the core of Sigma Kappa is our sisterhood. We are a community built on genuine connection, encouragement, and shared growth. From everyday moments together to lifelong friendships, our bond is rooted in support, laughter, and showing up for one another through every season of life.
As hardworking students, we are committed to our personal growth. Through our academic mentorship program, study sessions, and career building initiatives, our members are constantly supported and motivated to reach their full potential. We also encourage and empower each other to get involved across campus through efforts like our in-house involvement fair, making the most out of every opportunity to lead and grow.
In our community, we serve through meaningful partnerships with local organizations. Whether volunteering with the local humane society, elder care facilities, or community cleanups, we strive to show up fully and consistently for those who need us.
No matter the cause, our girls lead with intention and put in the effort to make a difference, because we are #AllInAlways.
