Huge congratulations and a warm welcome to all the new Gators in the Class of 2023! The University of Florida is a wellspring of opportunity and personal growth; however, it can be challenging to find the best opportunities, the best internships, the best leadership roles and the best ways to volunteer. Let’s be honest, attending a school with over 50,000 people can be overwhelming, especially as an incoming freshman.
Once you get on campus, the pressure is on to unlock the full potential of your time here at UF. What clubs do I join? How do I find out about research or internship opportunities? How do I make friends while keeping a high GPA? Navigating the campus as well as your own new lifestyle can be scary, but with the right tools you can get the most incredible guidance. Joining the Panhellenic community can be that tool—the door that gives way to the best opportunities for success here at UF.
The Panhellenic Council at UF prides itself in being successful and high achieving in both service and academics. The bountiful community service and philanthropic events hosted by sororities are looked forward to by people both inside and outside of the council. Greek involvement on campus in conjunction with academic excellence is what we are known for. More than all that, running home to a sorority gives you an automatic support system with over 200 girls rooting for you, giving you more advice than you need on everything from professors to parking. Best of all, Panhellenic will give you deeper friendships than you’ve ever had before.
By taking the step to become a Potential New Member, you are given the key to all Panhellenic at UF has to offer. This key gives you unlimited access to leadership roles, scholarships, high academic achievement, service and so many inspiring women who are determined to change the world. This key will not only give you plenty of ways to get involved and build your collegiate resume, but it will also provide you with the most fulfilling, worthwhile and meaningful friendships that are bound to last beyond the next four years.
Unlock your full potential by joining the UF Panhellenic Council. As always, Go Gators!
